Near million-pound settlement for diesel spill biker

Mr X was riding his motorcycle around a right-hand bend when he lost traction due to an oil or diesel spill on the road. He suffered from life-changing injuries, including multiple spinal fractures, and a fracture and tendon tear of his shoulder.

Despite his best efforts with physiotherapy, Mr X had a protracted recovery including multiple surgeries, and ultimately had to give up work.
