£55,000 for diesel spill accident

Amount: £55,000.00

Mr C, who was 29 at the date of the accident and 31 at the date of settlement, came off his motorcycle on a large diesel oil spill. His main injury was a closed left acromio-clavicular joint dislocation with a risk of future osteo-arthritis.

He required a great deal of care and had to give up his HGV driver’s job as it required heavy and over-head lifting. He has pursued a new career avoiding heavy lifting and his compensation included an amount of £16,000 for disadvantage on the open labour market.
